Scott grew up locally in Mission Viejo where he ran track and cross country at Trabuco Hills High School. He went on to run on a Division I scholarship at the University of Colorado and then Northern Arizona University. After encountering injuries while running in college, he became interested in orthopedics and physical medicine.
He graduated magna cum laude from Northern Arizona University with his Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Science. Following graduation, he worked briefly in physical therapy before returning to school. He attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA where he received his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. He believes in an approach that blends minimal amounts of medicine with the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
When he isn’t at work, you can find him at the beach or out golfing with Dr. Olberding.
