Originally from Alberta, Canada Dr. Travis Comeau grew up playing hockey and lacrosse which eventually landed him a lacrosse scholarship at Georgetown University. Throughout his athletic career, he was exposed to chiropractic care which he relied upon to keep him active and free of injuries. With a passion for sports medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Comeau pursued training in chiropractic and obtained a master’s degree in sports medicine and rehabilitation. As a board-certified Chiropractic Physician Dr. Comeau has continued to acquire new techniques and certifications in Active Release Technique, Graston, and SFMA (Selective functional movement assessment).
He later went on to further his training in the medical field to become a PA, as he had witnessed first-hand the outstanding results patients were obtaining with regenerative therapies such as stem cell and PRP in conjunction with chiropractic and rehabilitation. Dr. Comeau received his PA degree from Quinnipiac University and completed several rotations through the Yale School of Medicine in Connecticut.
With a unique educational background, Dr. Comeau takes a minimally invasive and holistic approach to patient care. His mission is to understand the goals of the patient while providing cutting edge treatment options to promote healing and function, with the ultimate objective of empowering and educating the patient to take control of their own health and wellness.
Outside of the office, Dr. Comeau enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife and his golden retriever, Yeti. He continues to stay active with playing in recreational hockey and lacrosse leagues here in Orange County.
