Margo Royer, NPNurse Practitioner

Margo Royer grew up in Southern California, and it was here that her love of movement, competition, and the human body first took root. As a collegiate basketball player, Margo developed a firsthand understanding of what it means to push the body to its limits — and what it takes to recover, rebuild, and perform again. That experience planted the seeds for a career dedicated to helping others do exactly the same.

Before entering nursing, Margo earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Whittier College, giving her a strong foundation in biomechanics and human performance. She went on to complete both her Bachelor’s in Nursing and her Nurse Practitioner Program at Azusa Pacific University, which ranks in the top five percent of nursing programs in the nation. Her academic training, combined with her athletic background, gives her a distinctive perspective on pain, function, and recovery that she brings to every patient she sees.

At OC Wellness Physicians Medical Group, Margo channels her passion for movement and wellness into comprehensive, patient-centered care. She believes in taking the time to truly understand each patient’s situation — their history, their goals, and the challenges that are holding them back — and then working collaboratively with OC Wellness’s team of physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, and acupuncturists to create a plan that addresses the whole person. The integrative care model here aligns perfectly with her belief that lasting results come from treating root causes, not just symptoms.

Margo is a proud member of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family and two dogs, and she’s always happy to catch a game — the competitive spirit never really goes away.
